Getting started with Faivv
Faivv lets you create and share content using key-phrases instead of addresses. This guide walks you through the basics: creating your first Faivv, choosing segment types, setting a TTL, and sharing with others.
Segment types
Text: Free-form text content. Ideal for messages, notes, or announcements.
Columns: Structured data in rows and columns. Useful for comparison tables, schedules, or data summaries.
File: Images, videos, YouTube embeds, or PDF documents. Supports responsive display across devices.
Key-phrases and TTL
Every published Faivv has a key-phrase — a short code that grants access. You can type your own or let the system generate one. TTL (Time-to-Live) controls how long your content stays available: 4 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, or 7 days. Once expired, content is permanently deleted.
